Jeanne-Marie Liebel hails from the arts with a diploma in international modern and contemporary dance from the International Dance Teachers Association. After working in the arts, she completed her Baccalaureus Legum (LLB) degree at the University of South Africa in 2008.  In 2009, Jeanne-Marie commenced articles of clerkship at Van Zyl Le Roux & Hurter Inc. She was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa where she practised as such until December 2010.
 
In 2011, Jeanne-Marie commenced working at the Pretoria Society of Advocates after having passed the National Bar exams and being admitted as an advocate of the High Court.  With near on ten years’ experience at the Bar, she excels in and enjoys litigation in various fields. She has a particular interest in civil matters, especially pertaining to personal injury.
 
In June 2020, Jeanne-Marie decided to join the dynamic team at Hazeldean Advocates’ Chambers.
